Job Description
We are looking for kitchen helpers to join our busy Japanese restaurant in Shinjuku. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are interested in the food service industry and want to gain experience in a professional kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist chefs with food preparation (washing, peeling, cutting vegetables)
- Wash dishes and kitchen utensils
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment
- Ensure the kitchen area remains clean and organized
- Store food items properly according to safety guidelines
- Help with basic food preparation tasks
Requirements:
- No previous experience required (training will be provided)
- Ability to follow instructions carefully
- Good teamwork skills
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of food safety is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Valid work permit for Japan
